Premier League

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea have looked unstoppable for the majority of the Premier League season, and with back-to-back home games coming up within the next week, the Blues will be looking to put one hand on the trophy with two positive results. After facing Crystal Palace at the weekend, Chelsea play Manchester City in a blockbuster match at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Everton travel to Manchester United on Tuesday.

Manchester United v Everton – 4th April

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United entertain Ronald Koeman’s Everton at Old Trafford on Tuesday, with both sides hunting down a UEFA Champions League spot. Being on their own patch, United are the bookies’ favourites, but it’s difficult to rule out an in-form Toffees side.

Everton face a defining week in their season, as they travel to rivals Liverpool and Man United in the space of a few days. Nevertheless, having won four of their last six Premier League matches, they will go into the next few days full of confidence and belief. As for United, after finally leapfrogging Arsenal, they now have their eyes set on Liverpool’s fourth spot.

Although we’re predicting a tight and cagey game in Manchester, we do believe Jose’s boys will make the most of being on home turf. Therefore, we feel there’s good value in Sky Bet’s 4/7 for a Red Devils win.

Chelsea v Manchester City – 5th April

Wednesday’s heavyweight clash between Chelsea and Manchester City could go a long way to deciding the title. A Blues win could extend their huge gap even further, whilst a City victory could make things interesting at the top. One thing’s for sure, this showdown has all the makings of being an enthralling battle at the Bridge.

With City still having the tiniest glimmer of hope of lifting the Premier League title, nothing short of three points will do for Pep Guardiola’s men in this one. They are also relying on Chelsea to slip up on more than one occasion before the season draws to a close. Antonio Conte’s troops, meanwhile, will be taking each game as it comes.

A draw would suit Chelsea far more than City, and we fancy this intriguing battle is going to end all square in the capital. However, we also believe the pair will get on the scoresheet. BetVictor are offering the tempting price of 7/2 for the draw and both teams to score on Wednesday.

Championship

With the Sky Bet Championship drawing to a close, there’s still a thrilling ongoing battle for promotion to the Premier League. Will it be Newcastle United or Brighton and Hove Albion who take the title? Which of the battling sides will make the play-offs? Who will avoid the drop… and which sides will be condemned to play in the third tier?

There’s plenty to be settled in the Championship yet. On Tuesday, we’ve got a Yorkshire derby between doomed Rotherham United and play-off-chasing Sheffield Wednesday. Whilst on Wednesday, high-flying Huddersfield Town host Norwich City.

Rotherham United v Sheffield Wednesday – 4th April

Rotherham United welcome Sheffield Wednesday to the New York Stadium on Tuesday. The Millers may be on their way to Sky Bet League One, but they would love to take all three points against their Yorkshire rivals in this one.

After losing 2-0 at home to fellow play-off hopefuls Reading before the international break, Carlos Carvalhal’s Wednesday will be eager to get their campaign back on track with a win in this one.

On paper, the Owls should have no problems swooping to victory at the New York Stadium. However, the Championship is capable of throwing up some shocking results over the course of the season, and we’re predicting another upset in this clash. Rotherham are available at 5/1 with Bet365 to secure a shock win.

Huddersfield Town v Norwich City – 5th April

After being embarrassed by Bristol City last time out, David Wagner’s Huddersfield Town will be looking to put that to the back of their minds when they entertain Norwich City at the John Smith’s Stadium on Wednesday. However, the Canaries still have eyes on a play-off place, which should make for an interesting game in Yorkshire.

Before hosting Norwich, Wagner’s men take on Burton Albion at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday. The Terriers will no doubt be looking for at least four points from these next two crucial home fixtures. As for Norwich, who are under the interim management of Alan Irvine, they travel to Aston Villa at the weekend.

This is game that both sides will be desperate to win. Still, Town are very strong on their own patch, losing just three league games on home soil all season, and we can see them nicking it. Betfair are offering 10/11 for a Huddersfield victory.

Bundesliga

Bayern Munich are once again proving themselves to be the top dogs in Germany, but there’s a fascinating battle going on for the runners-up spot. With the likes of Red Bull Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim separated by just four points before this weekend’s fixtures, who will claim second place? On Tuesday, Hoffenheim welcome league leaders Bayern to the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

Hoffenheim v Bayern Munich – 4th April

Carlo Ancelotti’s Bayern Munich are a huge 13 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table. On Tuesday night, the Bavarians travel to Hoffenheim, who currently occupy fourth place in Germany’s top table.

As expected, Bayern head to the Rhein-Neckar-Arena as the clear favourites with the bookies, and they should have no problems seeing off Julian Nagelsmann’s troops on Tuesday. In the reverse fixture back in November, Hoffenheim did manage a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena, though.

Nonetheless, we’re backing Ancelotti’s team to get the job done in typical Bayern Munich fashion. The standout bet is the away team to win to nil, which is worth a punt at 9/5 (BetVictor).

La Liga

With games running out in La Liga, we’re still none the wiser to who will lift Spain’s top flight crown. Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid are two points clear of Barcelona with a game in hand, with Sevilla in third and Atletico Madrid in fourth. It once again looks a two-horse race between Real and Barca, but we can’t pick a winner just yet. The pick of the bunch from La Liga’s midweek fixtures is Barcelona’s home match with Sevilla.

Barcelona v Sevilla – 5th April

Luis Enrique’s Barcelona, who remain two points adrift of rivals Real Madrid before this weekend’s matches, entertain Jorge Sampaoli’s Sevilla at the Camp Nou next Wednesday. With Real showing no signs of letting up, Barca just need to keep on winning.

However, Sevilla have enjoyed a fine season in La Liga, and won’t let Blaugrana have it all their own way. After losing 3-1 at Atletico Madrid last time out, the White and Reds will be hoping to put things right by gaining a positive result in Catalonia.

We think Sevilla will score, but we can only see one winner in this one. With that said, we like the look of Barcelona to win and both teams to score, which is priced at the tempting odds of 11/10 with Ladbrokes.
